How does Easy Inspect work?

At Easy Inspect we want you to have access to the best inspection reports at the best price. We thought to ourselves, “Why are multiple prospective home buyers going to multiple inspection companies to receive a report on the same property? That just doesn’t make sense”.

Therefore we have built Easy Inspect to help you, the prospective buyer, save money, time and hassle. We’ll do the hard yards. You sit back to reap the rewards.

So let’s break this down…

Inspections are done on a per property basis. To ensure we cover our costs, we require a minimum of 3 buyers order an inspection report for a particular property. When you place your order, we won’t charge your credit card or PayPal account, we simply pre-authorise a hold on your account but no money will be taken from your account until 3 buyers have requested the same report. Only once 3 buyers have ordered the report will your account be charged.

So how do I know how many people have ordered a report, you ask? We have created some nifty bars on the ordering page which clearly identifying how many orders have been placed on a property.

Once 3 buyers have requested or “ordered” the report one of our expert inspectors is notified and heads out to complete the inspection, quick sticks!

You can rest assured we will keep you up-to-date via e-mail or telephone as and when you can expect to receive your report. Normally this will be 2-4 days from the date the report order is initiated. We will e-mail a PDF copy of the report to your nominated e-mail account. Easy as!

When will my account be charged?

When you place your order, we won’t charge your credit card or PayPal account, we simply pre-authorise a hold on your account but no money will be taken until 3 buyers have requested the report. Only once 3 buyers have ordered the report will your account be charged.

What happens if more than 3 orders are created?

No worries! We only need the first 3 orders to initiate the report. Once the report has been completed it will be available to any further buyers at the same price to download. Fair dinkum!

Who are the Easy Inspect team?

We are a team of passionate Aussie property buyers and builders. All inspections are carried out by registered and qualified Victorian builders. Each inspector carries comprehensive public liability and professional indemnity insurance.

What happens if 3 people don’t order the inspection report?

Failing to attract 3 orders at latest 1 week prior to auction date, you will be contacted directly to discuss your options. Whether this be paying for the inspection in full or cancelling the order and recieving full refund. The choice is yours, no worries!

What will my report include?

Your report will include both a building and pest inspection report.

Who will perform the inspection?

The inspection will be performed by one of our experienced inspectors, all of whom are registered and qualified Victorian builders many with 20+ years’ experience. Each inspector carries comprehensive public liability and professional indemnity insurance and has a thorough understanding of and compliance with Australian Standards.

When will I receive my report?

The turnaround time for an inspection to be completed is generally 2-4 days and will be mailed to your nominated e-mail account.

Can I cancel my order?

Orders cannot be cancelled once they are submitted. However, if an order for a specific property does not receive the necessary minimum 3 orders within 1 week of the due auction date, a member of the Easy Inspect team will contact you to discuss options available to you, being undertaking the inspection at the full price or cancelling your order on your behalf.
